Climate & Winds
In the South Aegean and the West Mediterranean coasts of Turkey,
there is a climate with appx. 180 sunny days a year. The average
yearly rainfall is 200 mm per sqm with a high of 870 mm in January
and low of 2mm in July.

Winds:
In the summer the winds in the Aegean are predominantly from the
North, curving around the coast of Aegean to the coast of West Mediterranean
from North to Nortwest and to West. This wind is called "Meltem"
in this area, which starts to blow in May, July and August and dies
off in September and October.
